I'm getting ready to begin doing the online preschool with my 2 yr. old daughter, and we'll be doing everything together here in our home. I was wondering, would you suggest doing some sort of 'this is the end of class time' song or activity (the good-by song at the end of blue's clues kind of thing is coming to mind, lol) to let her know that we're transitioning from our school time to just regular being at home time? If so, do you have any ideas? Thanks!
'End of our preschool day' activity?

Also, just checking...there are 9 themes so for, correct? Just want to be sure I'm not missing something somewhere!

Hello Tracy,
Yes, that sounds like a great idea. Here is a Goodbye song that we sing in my class when we are done doing an activity or when we finish circle time. It goes like this:Goodbye see you soon,
Thank you for coming!
Goodbye see you soon,
We had so much fun!We tend to sing it two times and than I have the children give me a high five and then they can go off to their own activities. And yes, as of right now there are only 9 themes. However, we are in the process of making more. If you have any ideas for new themes I would love for you to share your ideas. Also, please keep me updated on how your daughter is doing with the preschool or if you have anymore questions.
Have a wonderful day!

Thanks, we did our first day of 'preschool' today and it went pretty well :) Lots of learning for her AND for me, lol. We made up our song to the tune of 'Camptown Races':
We had so much fun today, doo dah, doo dah
We'll do it again another day, oh, doo dah day!Posted 4 months ago # -
Hello Tracy,
I love the song you came up with!!! Would you mind if I post the song so other users can also use it when transitioning from school to home activities?
